What does fully licensed mean?

The diagnostics use of real-time PCR technology for food and GMO testing requires licensing from patent holders. BIOTECON Diagnostics Kits are fully licensed (Roche Diagnostics; Applied Biosystems). This guarantees the customer absolute legal freedom to operate. Use of unlicenced products is a patent infringement.
